1. Scope and Service Boundaries

Shadowrocket Wiki is the official website and manual for Shadowrocket. This site uses static pages to provide purchase verification, tutorials, and setup guidance. It has no registration, login, or email subscription forms and does not ask visitors to provide an email address. This policy applies to this site and does not replace the privacy information for the Shadowrocket app or the App Store.

This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend subscriptions. Tutorials assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. A one-time client purchase is not a service plan; app purchases, connection services, and browsing this site are separate matters.

2. Access Data and Analytics

Page requests may be recorded in the hosting service’s access logs, including the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and device information provided by your browser. This data is used to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and investigate unusual requests. Even when pages are static files, the server may still process this technical information.

We use analytics to understand page views, referral categories, device types, and navigation patterns so we can improve content structure, check for broken links, and make pages easier to read on narrow screens. When you click the App Store button on the download page, we record a store-link click. This does not indicate that a purchase was completed and does not include order or payment details.

Do not include subscription URLs, passwords, access credentials, or personal information in this site’s URL parameters. This site does not ask you to upload Config, Log, or server information. Analytics are not used to analyze connection activity within the client.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies and local storage let browsers save site data. This site has no login session or shopping cart. Basic reading features, such as opening the menu or jumping to a section, do not require accepting analytics cookies. Whether analytics use cookies depends on the current analytics configuration and your browser settings. If enabled, cookies are used only to recognize visits, distinguish sessions, and compile aggregate statistics.

If local storage is used for interface preferences, it should store only data needed for that feature—not subscription URLs or payment information. You can view or delete this site’s cookies and local storage, or restrict future storage, in your browser’s site data settings. Clearing browser data does not delete hosting logs or existing analytics records. You may need to select some preferences again.

4. External Links and Purchase Information

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the only way to get it is through the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Once you leave this site, the store may process your account, device, payment, and purchase records under its policies. Purchases are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

This site does not accept payments or access Apple Account passwords, payment details, or order records. A click on the store link does not tell us whether a purchase succeeded. Refer to the App Store page for pricing, system requirements, and general purchase eligibility. When your browser opens an external page, it may pass referral information; this depends on your browser and the destination site’s policies.

5. Data Management and Policy Updates

Access logs and analytics data should be used only as needed to maintain the site and analyze content, with access restricted to relevant administrators. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period. Actual retention depends on hosting and analytics settings; if details need to be verified, they should be explained with reference to the processing records available at the time.

Policy changes will be posted on this page, and the month at the top of the page will be updated.
